Introduction to the Moore Philharmonic

The Moore Philharmonic Orchestra is a community orchestra designed for advancing students as well as adults in the Moore County community. Over the pass two years the group has included students from Pinecrest High School, Union Pines High School, West Pine Middle School, Southern Middle School, O’Neal Day School, and a variety home schools. Adults in the group have included teachers, doctors, business persons, parents, and retired members of the community.

The Moore Philharmonic provides a unique opportunity for adults and advanced students to play a variety of musical styles together in a relaxed environment. For student musicians, several scholarships are available each year. See our "Scholarships" page for more information.
